He includes descriptions of rescues involving lifeboats throughout and after the war which really brings to life the work of Air Sea Rescue. There are chapters on each of the designs and a list of boats built and of RAF lifeboat operations. Strongly recommended for anyone interested in the Airborne Lifeboats.
